Two loving hearts dwell apart
Yet they beat together,
And feel that they but one of hearts And they for one another
They sail further into oceans
And delve deeper into seas,
In search of a uniting potion
To complete a love and put to ease.
With all the charging emotions,
And hope sparkles like a shining fact
With all the love, full of devotion.
Excited souls with friction collide
Adhering bodies do float away
Too engrossed with morals, too polite,
And put tomorrow before today.And as the chariot flies beyond,
Regret overflows hearts too old For youthful love, free of the bonds
Of wintry years that with time fold.
